Friends, Fun, and Food on the Fourth

I believe it is time for an update once again.

Over the Fourth of July I went up to the Lake of the Ozarks and stayed with a friend there along with 11 other of my closest friends from Drury. I had so much fun just relaxing. We played drunk Jenga, ate some BBQ, listened to Alan play the guitar, swam in the Lake, slept in, watched 3 different sets of fireworks on the dock while it was lightening (and singing Bohemian Rhapsody as a group), listened while people created their own limericks, spooned with Jazmyne, went for a walk on the crazy hilly curvy road, and reconnected with one of my best friends. For it being my only real "vacation" this summer, it was definitely a needed break and an awesome one at that.

Other than that, I've been working at The Grotto. Some weeks are really busy complete with working 8 to 11 hour days and getting up at 6:30 after closing the night before. Other weeks were really slow (nights...when I close) and I don't work very many hours. I'm definitely ready to be done working there though (less than a month now!).

Latesa-isms #1: When I mop or scrub floors, I always get the lyrics "Put your Back into it" in my head until the task is finished.
